CERI HOOVER CREATED HER EPONYMOUS HANDBAG LINE IN JANUARY 2013 AFTER EXPERIMENTING WITH COWHIDE LEATHER ORIGINALLY INTENDED TO MAKE A PILLOW FOR AN INTERIOR DESIGN CLIENT. CERI DECIDED TO TURN THE LEATHER PIECE INTO A BEAUTIFUL ONE OF A KIND CLUTCH, AND THE REST IS HISTORY.
Ceri is constantly brainstorming and envisioning new concepts for her line, but doesn’t intend to reinvent the handbag. Her mission is to create bags that reflect her own sense of style which is a coastal girl who has had the opportunity to travel the world and made a home in Nashville, Tennessee. Creating bags that will compliment one’s style rather than define it has been an important mission behind her line as well. To Ceri, bags are the piece of fashion that any woman, at any time, can use to tell her story. You don’t have to be dressed up or made up; you don’t have to be thin, rich, or traditionally beautiful. You just rock the bag that reflects your style and you’re done.
