WE’RE HAPPY TO BE IN THE FLATIRON DISTRICT. I’VE PERSONALLY LIVED IN THE AREA SINCE I MOVED TO NEW YORK AND I’VE BEEN HERE FOR ABOUT ELEVEN YEARS NOW. TO SEE THE TRANSFORMATION OF THIS NEIGHBORHOOD SINCE, HAS BEEN AMAZING!

New York Health & Racquet Club: 60 West 23rd St. 6th Ave. New York, NY 10010 - Members receive access to a monthly membership for just $99.

The Juice Shop: 688 6th Ave. New York, NY 10010 - All of our members get a discount off their food purchase!

For us, the location is very convenient for a lot of our designers who work in the Garment Center and to be so centrally located is a great perk. I also feel that the Flatiron neighborhood is on the access point for a lot of transportation, things to do and opportunities for creative industries - it’s amazing to see how many fashion-centric businesses are moving into this area.

One pioneer of this movement in particular is Tory Burch who’s been in the neighborhood for quite some time. Goods and Services Showroom was also another business to move in on the scene. Now more brands like Rebecca Minkoff are just down the street. We’re also seeing sought-after destinations like the NoMad and Ace Hotel which are really attracting opportunity for new businesses and a cool crowd to follow!

You really get the best of both worlds here: the perk of convenience without compromising a communal/neighborhood feel. The style in this area tends to lean towards a mainstream appeal, like I said I’ve been here for a while and there are a lot of families! From an industry perspective, the neighborhood predominantly has had a lot of tech-businesses (there are still a lot coming). So I’m sure that they’re very happy the fashion crowd has been infiltrating the space! It’s a good dichotomy.

One thing that's also great for our Brand Assembly Square members is that we offer certain perks and discounts to a few neighboring businesses.  The three included in this story are only a few of our growing network of local partners who have kindly contributed for events, market and more! We'll be sure to keep you updated on more of our partnerships and other opportunities as the year continues...

From the sun-drenched streets to the growing amount of things to do, see, eat and shop, I really wouldn’t want anything to change to be honest. What's happened over the years has been so progressive, and I’m personally excited to see what 2016 brings for the Flatiron neighborhood. To be continued!
